Haason Reddick apparently doesn't want to leave the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaking to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Reddick said he never requested a trade and "would like" to sign a contract extension with the Eagles.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday the Eagles granted Reddick permission to seek a trade. This led to some confusion that the 29-year-old may have requested a deal out of Philadelphia.
As Schultz noted, however, the Eagles simply informed Reddick's camp they could explore trade opportunities if they wanted to do so because he will be entering the final season of his contract in 2024.
